You and your unborn child's safety are our highest priority. We recommend that all expectant mothers consult a doctor before making travel arrangements; this is for the passenger’s safety and to prevent any unnecessary delays during check-in.

Depending on the stage of your pregnancy and certain other details, you may need to carry on board certain medical forms. Please see below for our guidelines on which medical forms may be needed.

** During the last 4 weeks of pregnancy prior to birth, the airline regrets to inform you that expectant mothers will not be able to fly with us due to safety reasons.

 

REMARKS :

  • Declaration forms for the expectant mother must be filled in at the check-in counter
  • Medical certificates must be written in English and include the following information:
    • Patient's name and date of birth.
    • Estimated date of delivery.
    • Proposed dates of air travel.
    • Confirmation of an uncomplicated single pregnancy OR a multiple or complicated pregnancy.
    • Confirmation that the patient is "fit to travel" for the entire journey, including return (where applicable).
    • Date, stamp, & contact details of a qualified doctor.
    • Valid 3 weeks from date of issue.
  • On the departure date, PG reserves the right for the ground staff and/or pilot in command to deny boarding to a pregnant passenger whose health condition is deemed unfit for flying. This will be a decision made under the consideration of the pilot in command, regardless of a medical certificate.
